“To my surprise, as I began to read the New Testament, I saw Jesus as a hippy in His day. He was no doubt doing good and the rulers of His day were against Him. He came up against the establishment and their traditions. He even protested at the Temple. The more I read of the New Testament…”

What an amazing testimonial of Redemption, Faith, Spirit filled determination in serving the Lord through thick and thin. Anyone with a background from Christ for the Nations, Shady Grove Church or Upper Room Dallas would find Jerry’s story quite inspiring. Zuzanna, you too are a remarkable soul in seeing that Jerry’s work will far out live his shortened life. May the Lord continue on in the all-important cause for Christ in Eastern Europe. God Bless,
Paul Mannel.
Who is Jerry Low for us? He is a man who, by his example, encouraged a deeper relationship with the Lord, who could at times put us to shame with his devotion to the vision of expanding the Kingdom of God in the Balkans. We learned from him the value of remaining in the hidden and the value of background work, prayer and immerson in God’s presence. We are honored to have had the opportunity to know Jerry and share many precious times of prayer with hiim!

“I do not know if I have ever met a believer who, although much older, much wiser and much more knowledgeable in matters of the Kingdom of God than me, would ask me questions and show interest in my perspective on life. Jerry would not show the slightest need to manifest his great knowledge and experience, but would respectfully challenge me to explore God’s work together. I don’t know if I’ve ever met a believer who so desperately didn’t want to be on stage, to be seen, but just wanted to be a part of what God is doing, in any role. Jerry was so naturally humble, so naturally available, so naturally open, and without a hidden agenda. I could be myself and open with him. His innocent and insatiable hunger for God was contagious. Even at a most ordinary half-hour coffee time Jerry would draw me into the affairs of the Kingdom within a second. His life was the true embodiment of the verse “Seek first the Kingdom of God, and the rest shall be added to you.” Jerry, next to you we were all somehow worth more. Your fatherly anointing and uplifting of others will always remain in me as an example and a goal.”
